[130816] EXO wins on Music Bank’s ‘K-Chart’ + Other Performances

KBS “Music Bank” is back this week full of amazing performances!

The August 16th episode of the show features the debut stage of rookie girl group Wassup as well as comeback performance of Ulala Session. Especially, Wassup modified their stage outfits tonight after previously deemed unsuitable for the 3 major stations.

Rookie soloist NC.A releases drama MV for “My Student Teacher” starring Girl’s Day’s Hyeri

Having already debuted with her first single “My Student Teacher” on August 11, rookie soloist NC.A (New Creative Artist) is now releasing a drama version music video for her debut track.

While the original music video features Jung Man Shik, the drama version MV is receiving attention for starring Girl’s Day’s Hyeri who portrays the story about a cute puppy-love from a high school student to her student teacher.

NC.A is one of the notable female rookie singers in 2013 who gained attention as a guest performer at Yurisangja’s concert last year. Her debut song “My Student Teacher” is composed by Park Seung Hwa of Yurisangja, written by Lee Ji Won and Scared Only Son and edited by Seo Jung Jin.

Girl's Day's Hyeri transforms into a student in new MV

Girl's Day's Hyeri updated her Twitter on 13th August.

She wrote,"Zzazan ~ This time i will star in new singer NC.A's MV, please support NC.A's title song "My Student Teacher", it's a great song".

Hyeri is seen wearing school uniform at the filming set. NC.A stands for "New Creative Artist", the title song "My Student Teacher" is a cute song showcasing the innocent love of a student towards her teacher.

The full MV will be released on 14th August.

Girl’s Day’s Minah becomes the new muse of ‘MAJOLICA MAJORCA’

Girl’s Day’s Minah has been chosen as new muse of Japan’s popular makeup brand ‘MAJOLICA MAJORCA’.

Minah was appointed as a new model for the makeup brand and revealed her more mature and feminine side. She perfectly managed various makeup styles and keep her positive attitude despite of the extended shooting schedule.

A representative of ‘MAJOLICA MAJORCA’ stated, “Minah perfectly matches the brand’s image in that she has cute and feminine yet mysteriously charms from her deep eyes. We expect Minah will improve our brand image.”

Girl’s Day’s Sojin sings “In the Summer” for Deux’s 20th anniversary tribute album

Girl’s Day’s Sojin participated in the special tribute album for Deux.

On August 9, Sojin released a remake version of Deux’s “In the Summer” featuring rapper Zizo. The song “In the Summer” is first released in 1994 and has become one of the most popular summer K-pop songs for two decades.

The tribute album was produced to mark 20th anniversary of DEUX and their music.
