Missy Elliott is coming to KCON 2013!

The hip-hop veteran has been announced as an additional artist for KCON 2013. She will be performing as part of the event’s ‘M! Countdown What’s up LA’ concert on August 25 with line-up also included G-Dragon, EXO, f(x), Teen Top, 2AM, Dynamic Duo, Super Junior M’s Henry and Yoo Seung Woo.

Missy Elliott said, “I’m excited to be a part of KCON. This event will allow me to interact with a diverse group of artists and fans.”

K-Pop fans are eager to see what is in store for Missy Elliot’s KCON appearance, and many are hoping to get a glimpse at her and G-Dragon in action together. G-Dragon had announced his second solo album, set for an August 18th release, will feature Missy Eliott but it hasn’t been confirmed whether the Grammy-award winning rapper will perform with him or not.

Big Bang’s Seungri is coming back to the local music scene with his second mini-album and he is bringing more excitement by releasing his first video teaser for “Let’s Talk About Love.”

Seungri will release his second mini-album on August 19 with an offline release on August 21st and resume his solo activities in his home country. The track “Let’s Talk About Love” features Big Bang members G-Dragon and Taeyang.

Big Bang’s Seungri reveals “GG BE” is about a girl who broke his heart

Big Bang’s Seungri, who is gearing up for a solo comeback, has introduce another song from his upcoming album.

Seungri revealed that “GG BE”, the third track on second mini album ‘Let’s Talk About Love’, is actually based on his own love experience particularly about a girl who broke his heart.

He explained, “To be upfront, this song is about me. There are many songs about bad girls coming out these days like Bumkey’s ‘Bad Girl’ and CL’s ‘The Baddest Female’. I think this shows that there really has been an increase in the amount of bad girls in this world. It’s not just girls who get tricked by boys, but boys also get tricked by girls.”

“Everything about a certain girl I used to go out with were lies, and whenever I would find out, I would be really shocked. That made us grow tired and act coldly to one another. I got even more angry and felt pathetic that she was just waiting for me to say we should break up.”

Seungri continued, “I put the feelings of pain and anger that she gave me into this song. I needed a tone to go with the men's side so I asked Jennie Kim of the new YG girl group to create a charismatic bridge portion.”

He also left a straightforward message to the girl saying, “I want to say a few words to that girl. You’ll get back as much as you've done. Listen to this song and get your head straight.”

Fans gets jealous over G-Dragon hugging a Saudi Arabian princess

Big Bang’s G-Dragon was recently spotted giving a hug to a Saudi Arabian princess.

G-Dragon was apparently filming for his new music video in London for his solo comeback. Many fans gathered at the location including a princess from Saudi Arabia, who reportedly a huge fan of the Big Bang member.

They are revealed to have greeted each other and G-Dragon gave her a quick hug. The news quickly spread online, which resulted in lots of wild responses from the fans.

Big Bang to air special world tour documentary on jTBC

Cable channel jTBC will be airing a special documentary covering Big Bang’s first world tour.

Titled ‘Big Bang, Sing Towards the World - Alive Tour’, the documentary will be aired through jTBC on August 17 at 11PM (KST). It will feature the group’s successful world tour ‘BIG BANG ALIVE TOUR 2012’ which was recorded throughout the year in 24 different cities in 12 countries.

The documentary will feature all the preparations as well as an interview with the members who disclosed their honest and serious thoughts before the world tour. It will also include five Big Bang members’ happy moments on stage and off stage.

Big Bang started its global tour in Seoul last year in March, and then travelled to the America and Europe to meet with about 800,000 fans.

Big Bang’s Seungri once thought of quitting music + unveils second teaser image

Big Bang’s Seungri, who is gearing up for a solo comeback, confessed that he once lost his will to pursue his career in music.

Just one week prior to his second mini-album release on August 19, Seungri posted a heartfelt message on his Facebook page, reflecting on his past. He wrote, “I had once lost courage for music. I was so overwhelmed by the talented older members of the team that I wanted to do something else other than music.”

He revealed that a conversation a year ago with Yang Hyun Suk changed his thinking and returned his focus to music. “We had a conversation that would instantly reverse my wrong mental attitude. He took on a guy like me to YG and I got to be a member of group Big Bang. He made me into a decent person and had great expectations from me.”

As a result, Seungri worked hard and has been able to make better music. With his upcoming solo comeback, he revealed that he “participated in the composing and writing the lyrics of all the songs, but in the end, this is Big Bang’s music”, adding that he was greatly influenced by fellow member G-Dragon for the past 8 years.

Seungri concluded, “This album will make up for all my mistakes that I have made. For my hardworking staff, for my team, for my loving fans, and for myself.”

Seungri will release his second mini-album on August 19 (with an offline release on August 21st) and resume his solo activities in his home country. The mini-album consists of 7 songs including title track, “Gotta Talk to U”, “Let’s Talk About Love” featuring Big Bang’s G-Dragon and Taeyang, as well as “GG Be” featuring YG Entertainment trainee, Jennie Kim.

The title track “Gotta Talk to U” is a fast-tempo house genre tune and the music video will be directed by Han Sa Min, who also behind Big Bang’s “Blue”, “Bad Boy” and “Monster”.

G-Dragon to release DVD for 'One of A Kind in Seoul'

G-Dragon fans are going to anticipate more! Aside from the upcoming release of his second album on August 18, G-Dragon is also going to release the DVD of his World Tour 'One of A Kind in Seoul' on September 13.

The announcement has been made on G-Dragon's official Facebook page.

The DVD will consists of two discs. DISC 1 includes the totality of the concert and performances while DISC 2 includes the special multi-angled G-Dragon, shot with 7 cameras. It means more of exciting clips for G-Dragon's fans.

G-Dragon releases teaser photo for his upcoming comeback

On August 7, G-Dragon departed for London to film his new MV. On August 10, he confirmed it as he himself released a teaser photo through his instagram account.

He wrote, "This is a teaser". In the photo, in his usual unique style, he is wearing a blue suit and chucks. He is standing stiffly in front of a wall with graffiti.

The MV that he is currently shooting is from his new single which is included in his 2nd solo album that is expected to be released on August 18.

Kakao Talk enters the Philippines with a new CF with Korea's very own Big Bang and the Pop Royalty of the Pilipinos, Sarah Geronimo.

Singer Lee Jung Hyun has revealed her wish to film MBC TV ‘We Got Married’ with Big Bang’s G-Dragon.

The singer, who recently released her new single “V”, revealed her thoughts about her comeback, ideal type and marriage in an interview. When asked who would she want to film variety show ‘We Got Married’ with, Lee Jung Hyun picked G-Dragon without any hesitation.

She explained, G-Dragon may be my junior, but he's a top-notch artist. He is really flawless with his stage charisma during programs and concerts. His music and fashion style, they're all perfect.”
